Do I really need storage insurance?

Most storage facilities require it as a condition of your rental agreement. Even where it isn't compulsory, your belongings are your responsibility once they're in the unit — the facility takes very limited liability for loss or damage.

How much does storage insurance cost?

Can I use cover4storage at any storage facility?

Yes — as long as the facility is within England, Wales, or Scotland, is purpose-built for self storage, and has CCTV and fire alarms in place. This includes both indoor storage units and storage containers. Your certificate is issued instantly, so if your facility asks for proof of insurance you can show it straight away.
